CUBA, NY - All set to head to Cuba on Saturday. We'll be leaving Palmyra around 10:30 am, and should arrive on site around 1:30 pm. Call the cell if you want to reach me; feel free to call or text orders and I'll try to have all copies you're looking for. Big two-camera night, and the weather looks good.

Just a few more days until the biggest derby in NY goes green. We'll be there watching the top builders go for $3,000 in the headline event. Metal Destruction III goes live at 3 pm with the Heavy Hitters, North East Stocks, Chain-and-Gos, Compacts and Figure 8s. A stock-rules Buick Electra 225 is being built as a raffle car! Don't miss out!

Metal Destruction III is promoted by Heavy Hitting Productions (HeavyHittingProduction.info) at the Cuba Fireman's Field just off 390 in downtown Cuba, NY.

HHP also promotes events at the Livingston County Fairgrounds in Caledonia, NY, where they will oversee combative motorsports events at the Livingston County Fair (August 1 & 4) and the season-ending Empire State Championships September 8.

DeLong Scores First Win in Upperco
UPPERCO, MD - Great trip to Upperco, MD. The arena cars were crazy; compacts, full-size and then the 'heavyweights,' which included minivans and S-10 Blazers. There weren't any derby cars, but five brave compact wheelmen went back out at the end of the night to finish off their cars.

Ryan Delong, who we saw four times last year with J & J Demos, won his first all-out derby main. Congrats to him.

J & J Demos (jandjdemo.com) have just this year signed on to promote the series of events in Upperco at the Arcadia Volunteer Fire Company's events complex. The J & J team (and Smashed Empire Films) will be back on June 12.
